  • Aperol had a problem: most people didn’t know it is Italian and that it has roots in Venice. Our challenge was to showcase Aperol’s Venetian heritage and champion Italian traditions and crafts. ​

    Our concept was to literally put the story of Aperol and the Aperitivo on the map, allowing the world to experience ‘Aperol’s Life View’. We created an interactive film designed to showcase Aperol’s connection to Venice and celebrate those who keep its traditions alive. ​

    Hosted on Google Maps, viewers can watch,​ in 8k, 360-degree, geo-located films, that follow the intertwining lives of local Venetians, culminating in an Aperitivo. Each chapter allows the viewer to experience Venice, from its famous canals (some never seen on film before) to world-renowned glass blowing studio Wave Murano and a centuries-old Gondolier workshop.
